Preliminary Conversation
A private introductory discussion to determine whether independent advisory input may be useful. The matter may be discussed in general or hypothetical terms. No confidential documents or identifying information are required at this stage.
Advisory Engagements
Where further involvement would be useful, the scope, duration, and form of the engagement are tailored to the needs of counsel or client and the circumstances of the matter.
For Counsel
Counsel may use IAA to pressure test any consequential element of an international arbitration, including case strategy, arbitrator selection, arguments, motions, witness preparation, expert positions, or hearing strategy.
For Clients
Clients may engage IAA directly or through counsel when an important decision or position would benefit from independent scrutiny outside the immediate case team.
